What is Floatation Therapy?

Imagine floating without a care in the world! You will feel weightless with 1,400 pounds of magnesium keeping you afloat while you lie on your back. You will lose track of where your body ends and the water begins, with the water heated to skin temperature. Relieve your mind of distractions. Allow yourself to rest, rejuvenate, and heal.

Why float?

Floating reduces external stimuli giving your body time to restore. Floating is utilized for many reasons:

  • Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis 

  • Chronic aches & pains in muscles and joints

  • Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Postnatal Depression

  • Improves Sleep, Insomnia, Exhaustion 

  • Helps break addiction and bad habits

  • Boosts creativity, concentration, and motivation 

  • Relieves headache/migraine tension

  • Reduces high blood pressure 

  • Improves circulation and detoxification 

  • Encourages meditation and deep relaxation

Your Appointment:

  • Take your shoes off & check in

  • Put in your earplugs (provided for you)

  • Shower (shampoo & body wash only)

  • Step inside & enjoy your float!

  • Utilize head/neck support

  • Shower again after float                       (can use conditioner)

  • Check out

Preparation: 

  • No caffeine several hours before your appointment, as it will increase your jitters.

  • Don’t shave or wax prior, as the salt will irritate your skin.

  • Have a light meal or snack 60-90 minutes prior to floating.      
     

When not to float: 
If you have any of the following:

  • Infectious skin or respiratory disorders

  • Fresh tattoos 

  • Fresh spray tan

  • Colored or permed hair (within the last week)

  • High-risk pregnancy 

  • Under the influence 

  • Menstruating

FAQ:

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope, just you! Ear plugs, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.

Can I drown if I fall asleep?
No, some people do fall asleep, but the buoyancy of the water will keep you afloat.

How often should I float?
You can float as often as you would like!
For best results, we recommend regular sessions 1-2 times a week.
